Mark Abeyta is an educator with 12 years of experience in education, 6 years of experience as a law enforcement officer and 6 years of experience as a Chief Administrator for a local non-profit.  With nearly 25 years of leadership experience, Mark brings a unique and diverse skill set to Victory Collegiate Academy and the community it serves.  A resident of the Maryvale Community, Mark is passionate about serving and helping the families who call Maryvale home.   
Mr. Abeyta has received many awards throughout his professional career including the “Chief Award” for his outstanding service to the residents of Maricopa County, the Maryvale Revitalization Corporation award for “Outstanding Effort in Education”, C.O.P.E. Coalition Award for “Reducing Under Age Drinking in Maryvale”, “Outstanding Service to the Town of Cave Creek” award from the Marshall of Cave Creek and the University of Arizona’s “Student Minority Achievement’ award.  
It is his dedication to servant leadership and commitment to community which distinguishes Mark as a valuable asset to the Victory Collegiate Academy family.  As Principal, Mark is determined to create a learning environment at VCA which will support student growth academically, physically, mentally and socially.  Mr. Abeyta’s ‘No Excuses’ approach to life inspires students from Maryvale to overcome all obstacles and to dream the greatest of dreams.  His life serves as a testimony to the success that follows hard work, a winning mindset, high goals and positive character.  Mr. Abeyta is committed to leading VCA to achieve an A rating and catapulting VCA and the Maryvale Community to prominence in the educational landscape of Arizona.
